Few pieces of packaging machinery are more flexible and configurable than a Klockner Bartelt Poucher. I’ve bought, rebuilt, traded and sold many of these units in the past twenty years and for my dollar, they’re one of the most desirable form-fill-machines out there.
Right hand and a left hand HMC Bartelt IM10-10 machines that were recently removed from a line are many times the best bet , but often it is hard to tell the wreck from the runner – we have technicians who can evaluate machines to help with maintenance, rebuild, and operations.
In many cases the basics can be followed – is the indexing tight, replace the chains and clips – 2750 from HMC, rebuild the film feed and cut off , repair fixtures nad sealing stations, make sure the indexing clutch an half shaft for film is opeational, and check the film infeed to assure its aligned.
More important is that the PLC of 8+ years ago are the the flip phones we used to carry – tired relics that don;t perform like a modern smart phone.
We can do full electronics replacement utilizing absolute encoders, PLC with I/O and touch screen HMI . ( or if you like your flip phone , we keep your old electrics running and as updated as possible)
If you’re looking for a full rebuild on these machines, we can discuss your needs, but I’d estimate the investment to be $100,000 including the equipment.
